The skin of your hands is one of the parts of your body suffering the most from weather conditions, hot and cold water, soap, and other external conditions. As a result, your skin gets dry, rough, chapped, painful and, above all, aging. In order to take care of your hands, you can use various natural remedies, including, decoction of oat-flakes, cucumber juice and potato juice. The article deals with effective home remedies to take care of hand skin.
- You can use various tinctures to moisturize the skin of your hands. Infuse a tablespoon of herbs of spotted mayweed, linden blossoms, peppermint leaves or sweet briar with a glass of boiling water and leave the infusion to brew for some time. Use the decoction as a hand bath.
- Mix equal quantities of common nettle leaves and scented mayweed blossoms. Make a decoction of the mix of herbs and use it as a hand bath to treat tired hands. Afterwards, massage wet hands with cold cream or solution made of 50 grams of glycerin, a teaspoon of smelling salts and a teaspoon of toilet water.
- Soak your hands in pickled cage juice or whey twice a week to deal with dry hand skin.
- Cleanse raw and chapped skin with hydrogen peroxide at 3 wt% concentration and soak your hands in a warm solution. The solution is 2 tablespoons of potato starch dissolved in a liter of cold water. After the bath, massage your hands with aloe, plantain or hedge hyssop tincture (the tincture should be bought at the drugstore).
